Course Overview
Our three-year BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering programme is a flexible and far-reaching undergraduate course designed to help you focus on making your mark within the world of mechanical engineering.
You will learn the key principles of mechanical engineering, engineering applications, advanced materials, and structures, advanced thermofluids and control, amongst many other subject topics.
Modern and career-focused, the BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering offers the grounding needed to help you excel. Delivered in partnership with the University of Bolton, this course offers flexible timetables with the option to study both digitally online and in person. Our morning, evening and weekend classes are available to help you fit your studies around existing life commitments.

​Entry Requirements
Two GCE A2-level passes (or equivalent), including Mathematics & Physical Science and five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including Mathematics, Science and English
IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent), in cases where English is not your first language.
Alternative assessment:
For mature students (those over 21 years old), or those requiring an alternative kind of assessment:
You will be required to attend an interview/entrance exam as part of the admissions process.
